I am a London based consultant dermatologist. I graduated at the top of my class in South Africa in 1993. breaking the University record by achieving 23 distinctions, 10 certificates of merit and 15 awards during his six years of medical training. I have worked in dermatology since 1996 completing my specialisation with distinction in 2000 and obtaining a Masters thesis in Dermatology in 2001. I was then invited to study at the University of Oxford and was awarded the prestigious Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Training Fellowship. In 2003 I was awarded the Wellcome Trust Fellowship to pursue PhD at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics at the University of Oxford on the 'Genetics and genomics of atopic dermatitis'. I now leads the Department of Dermatology in a leading London teaching hospital, the Chelsea and Westminster. I am an Honorary Consultant in Molecular Genetics at both Great Ormond Street and Imperial College London.
