Dr Jamal Karwan qualified in medicine in 1989 and completed the Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) by the General Medical Council (UK) in 1996. He then trained in General Medicine, gaining membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 2000, and membership to the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2004. Dr Karwan’s wide range of medical training has included: - Accident and Emergency Medicine at Stoke Mandeville Hospital - Cardiology and Vascular at Dundee Teaching Hospital - General Medicine at Dundee Teaching Hospital - Healthcare of the Elderly at Nottingham University Hospital - Obstetric and Gynaecology at Farnborough Hospital He has a special interest in allergies, and completed the Diploma in Allergic Disorders by Allergy (UK) in 2008. Dr Karwan strives to tailor medical requirements to individual needs and believes in a holistic approach to patient care.
