MA MD FRCS(Plast)
A modest, upbeat and quick-witted surgeon, Mr Hiroshi Nishikawa is highly regarded among his plastic surgical colleagues who often seek his opinion with difficult cases. His cosmetic surgical skills are also in demand from celebrity clients and he was recently featured in Tatler.
"My reconstructive work rebuilding the facial features of children in Birmingham and Africa is a huge privilege and also helps me achieve results with my cosmetic and aesthetic surgery in adults. When relaxing at home I am a huge DIY enthusiast."

After graduating from Cambridge University I have trained all over the world, including the UK, Australia, Taiwan and Japan receiving specialist training in cosmetic, craniofacial and plastic reconstructive surgery. I have been recognised as an expert in plastic surgery being on the GMC specialist register since 1996. I am an experienced craniofacial and plastic surgeon working at both Birmingham's Children's Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. I am clinical lead of the Craniofacial unit that deals with facial deformity, facial palsy and vascular anomalies. My specialist skills have led me to work for the charity Facing Africa performing complex reconstructive surgery on children's faces effected by Noma - a gangrenous disease of the face. I practice aesthetic and cosmetic surgery at The Westbourne Centre Birmingham and specialise in the rejuvenation of the face and body and also breast enlargement. I have pioneered techniques of cosmetic procedures using a local anaesthetic with sedation for facelifts and breast enlargement. Improving the experience of patients under my care.
